Nevidio, Međureč, Drenoštica & Škurda
Canyoning is the sport of descending river gorges on foot — without canoes or boats. Using ropes, harnesses and the natural features of the canyon itself, you jump, slide, swim and rappel your way through some of the most dramatic landscapes on earth.
Unlike rafting or kayaking, canyoning takes you into the very heart of the mountain. You move through narrow passages carved over millennia by rushing water, passing waterfalls, natural pools and vertical drops that no other activity can reach. Montenegro's canyons are among the finest in Europe, ranging from accessible beginner routes to serious technical descents.
All of our canyoning tours are guided by certified instructors who provide full equipment and safety briefings. No prior experience is needed — just a spirit of adventure.
Staying in Budva? See canyoning from Budva — Drenoštica is 15 minutes inland.
The four main canyons are Nevidio (Durmitor — the most famous), Škurda (above Kotor old town), Drenoštica (15 minutes from Budva) and Međureč (Mount Rumija near Bar). All are guided and equipped.
No. Drenoštica and Međureč are beginner-friendly. Nevidio and Škurda are more technical but still accessible to first-timers with a certified guide.
Wetsuit, neoprene socks, helmet, canyoning harness, ropes and technical equipment, certified guides, taxes and photos are included. Transport and lunch are not.
